Last Thursday, August 24th, we joined the American Red Cross for a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of their new office in University Place. The event was attended by local leaders including University Place Mayor Steve Worthington,
University Place Council Member Edward Wood, University Place Council Member Javier Figueroa, Senator Murray's District Representative Juan Beltran, Derek Kilmer's District Representative Courtney Acoff, and City of Tacoma Deputy Mayor Kristina Walker. The South Puget Sound and Olympics Chapter of the American Red Cross serves the communities of Clallam, Grays Harbor, Jefferson, Kitsap, Lewis, Mason, Pierce, and Thurston counties. Thank you to everyone who attended this exciting event and to the American Red Cross for inviting us to be part of this milestone!
