serving our military
Joint Base Lewis-McChord is not only one of the state's largest employers, with more than 61,000 workers who show up daily, but also one of the primary economic drivers in the South Sound.
Through our advocacy programs and community partnerships, we work to ensure JBLM remains a vital and viable player in the local economic landscape. We focus our workforce development efforts on supporting active duty and transitioning military and their spouses by connecting them with permanent, family-wage jobs.
