Welcome New Chamber Staff | Andrew Parks, Technical Assistant and Program Coordinator

​As David Niehaus, the ’77-’10 Mariner’s Baseball Sportscaster, would say, “My, oh my!” has the Chamber seen some big changes in 2024! We have had several recent staff additions, all who bring wonderful qualities and experience to our team. One of those additions is none other than Andrew Parks.

Andrew joined the Chamber staff in late May, and it was a natural fit from the start. He always comes to work with a positive attitude and a big smile. He is inquisitive, and eager to learn and grow in his position as the Technical Assistant and Program Coordinator.

In this role, Andrew will work with Pierce County Business Accelerator (PCBA) students, guiding them through graduation, and being a helping hand in the post-graduation business world. He will also lend help to those navigating the Kiva program as the Capital Asset Manager, and be the staff lead for the Business Leadership Academy (BLA) that the Chamber hosts in partnership with Pacific Lutheran University.

Andrew is a graduate of the University of Providence where he earned a Bachelor of Science in pre-law and legal studies. Using his education, Andrew went on to work with foreign and domestic technology companies to expand their parent portfolio and licensing. If that wasn’t enough, he also has a background in intellectual property law, business law, and business development.

While he has only been at the Chamber for a short while, when you meet with him you will feel as if you’ve known him forever. Andrew is all around a great guy and the Chamber is so excited to see what his future here holds!
